The events, the style, the champagne

20131024-161134.jpg<!–

The events, the style, the champagne… One of my favourite times of year, over the next two moths, as we lead up to Christmas, the social calendar fills up with an array of fun fill, social nights and days. For many weddings are the high light of season but not only are there weddings. There are Christmas parties, dinner parties, cocktail nights and not to forget Melbourne cup week; a week full of days to frock up and creating a glamorous chic style, that will take many from the track side to the after parties that follow.

Tonight is one of the many events I’ll be attending between now and Christmas it’s the Design Institute Australia's end of year dinner party. It will be full of networking and meeting new people all the while sitting down to a three-course meal and maybe a cheeky glass or two.

Dreaming of a white Christmas

Just a little bit excited…this summer I’ll be swapping my Zimmerman bikini down at Sorrento, for a pair of Hunter boots, a black trench coat and scarf. Dreaming of a white Christmas is a reality this year as I book my final accommodation to visit family and friends across the cities of Europe.

December – January I’ll be spending 6 weeks exploring the canals and side streets of Amsterdam; the fashion, cafes, heights, and sights of Paris; Oxford street, pubs and bars in London; the markets, architecture and buildings of Barcelona; the rugged coast line of Lisbon; the vintage markets and history of Nice; the lakes, church’s and fashion of Milan; the galleries and cafes of Vienna; and the street art and design of Berlin. All the while I’ll be sharing the fashion, design and people I meet with you along the journey across Europe.
